& disclosure requirements of Accounting Standards, Schedule-VI.Handling

Accounting.Coordination with Company Secretary for ROC and Finance related
work.
Direct & Indirect Taxation(Act Applicable- Income
Tax, TDSand Service Tax):-
v Overall responsible for all tax and statutory
compliances for both Direct and Indirect Taxes including filing of returns
(TDS, Income Tax, Service tax etc.)
v Identifying the reasons and
facts in TDS demands notices checking the calculations & rectifying the
same.
v Analysis the assessments
with filed return and identifying the reasons & facts for any differences
in allowable claims, raised demands & receivable refunds and filed online
rectification of identified error.

replies, rectification application to Income Tax and Service Tax Authorities.

and Normal Computation planning and given the suggestion to the management for
long term capital Loss/ Profiton Listed shares (Amount involved in Crores) to avail
maximum MAT availability or reduce tax liability.
v Pointed an error of
principle in Computation of Income Tax of the current year, effect of which reducedthe
tax liability of the Company amounting to Rs.30 to 45 Lacs.
v Suggested for the Tax benefit
of 54EC against the LTCG arising to the company, which may result in Tax saving
of Rs. 10 Lacs.
v Well understanding of
Company business profile and non-business activities, presentation of balance
sheet items like investment in properties and Fixed Assets group for which pointed
out an error of principle in Computation and filing of Income Tax Return to
justify the Income under the head Business & Profession & Income under
the head House Property to justify the claim of business running expenses.

irregularities in Balance Sheet Accounts& Income Tax return.
