Bharati Shipyard Ltd an ISO 9001-2000 Certified  Shipyard ( ESTD. 1976) are in the business of Shipbuilding and Ship Repairs of Ocean going Ship & Other Crafts such as Mini bulk Carriers, Diving Support vessels, Dynamic positioning vessels, Fishing Trawlers, Harbor Tugs, Sea Going Tugs, Fire fighting vessels, Pollution control vessels, Supply vessels, Multi Purpose Dispatch vessels, Dredger, Passenger Ferry which are Classed under IACS  Societies of  Register such as LRS, IRS, ABS and BV. The Clients include from Middle East, Mediterranean and indigenous Ship owners.

Area of Skill And Responsibilities :
       
1.     In above duration, worked on various Anchor Handling tugs, Multipurpose supply vessels and DP2 facilities vessels.
2.     Handling of production work under various International marine classes such      as BV, IRS, ABS, LRS,  DNV etc.
      3.  Standards Worked for SOLAS, NOBLE DENTON,  MARPOLL etc.
4.  Knowledge of project handling, Scheduling and production planning.

      5. Thoroughly involved in sea trials such as, Speed trial, External fire fighting with water spray for vessel, Compass trial, Anchor handling trial, Bollard pull trial up to 120 tones capacity,   Inclination test, Load line survey, Lightship survey etc.
6.     Installation & Commissioning of various machineries like, Bulk handling compressors with dryers, Main compressors for  main engine starting and various consumers, Breathing air compressors, Oily water separator units, Oil purification units, Various centrifugal and gear pumps, Fire & Anti heeling pumps of capacity 650m^3/hr.,Air-conditioning and Refrigeration units, Sewage treatment plants, CO2 systems equipments, Dip-fat fire extinguishers, equpt. for  galley, Various Galley equipments, Fresh water and Sea water  hydrophore units, Hot water calorifiers with UV Sterliser units, Oil dispersant unit, knowing through knowledge the working of Tank Gauging System, Diesel engines, Main and Emergency generators, Bow and Stern Thrusters, Propulsion units like Rudder and SRP propulsion, Gear box with step up and step down facilities etc.
7.     Hydraulic equipments like Power packs, various hydraulics pumps & motors, Anchor  windlass, Mooring and tugger winches, Anchor handling towing winches upto120 bollard pull Tons capacity, Shark jaws and their towing pins , various cranes up to 22 tones capacity, Capstans etc.
8.     Knowledge of marine piping production and connections according to ANSI, DIN Standards for various systems like Air, filling, sounding system, Fresh water cargo system, Fuel oil cargo system, Drill water/ Water ballast system, Fuel oil transfer System , Lube oil transfer system, Bilge-ballast and internal fire fighting system , External fire fighting with foam system, Water spray system, Anti heeling system. Oil separation and  purification system, Fresh water and sea water cooling system, Domestic F.W / S.W. and Hot water system, CO2 system, Oil dispersant system,
          Scupper and sanitary system, Dirty oil system, Grey water system,
          Compressed air system etc.
9.     Operation and working of various valves like STOP valves, SDNR valves,
     Various NR valves, GATE valves, CHECK valves, Butterfly valves,
          GLOBE valve, STORM valves, O.B.D. valves, Pneumatic operated quick
          Closing valves, hydraulically operated Solenoid valves
10.                       Knowledge of various pipes treatments like Galvanizing, Acid cleaning and
     pickling and effluent treatment of disposal of hazardous chemicals for pickling
     plant after neutralization.
   


     11.Welding knowledge of MIG, TIG and MMA and identification of its defects &
          various fixtures.   
                                      
    12.During Sea trials checking the Performance of machinery as per Owner's
         Requirement.
