Description : The aim of the project is to encode the speech signal at sampling frequency of 8000Hz and decode it, using LPC – 10. First divide speech signal to frame length of 20 ms and find whether it is ‘speech or silence’, if it is speech find whether it is ‘voiced or unvoiced’, if it is voiced find the ‘time period’ of the periodic signal. Find the LPC coefficient of all frames by LEVINSON – DURBIN algorithm and find the gain of the signal in each frame. In the transmitter section pass only the LPC coefficient, gains and time period if it is voiced, so in this process we are compressing the signal by passing only these three parameters. In the receiver generate the train of pulse using the time period or random signal if it is unvoiced frame. Pass this reconstructed frames to IIR filter with LPC coefficient, this will reconstruct the signal what we want.
Description : In this project the wave files are played with the effects like Echo, Reverbation, Flanging, Surround effect, Balancing, Bass, Treble, Volume control, and also displaying the Equalizer effect in the player using GUIDE in MATLAB which is linked with SIMULINK. In this project changing of the Phase of the audio signal plays the major role in producing these effects and at last the whole is activated using Graphical User Interface. The filter design plays important role in this project.
Description : The main aim of this project is to hide the original message (secrete information) in other innocent message by Steganography. Steganography is the art and science of writing hidden messages in such a way that no one apart from the intended recipient knows of the existence of the message. Steganography is usually confused with cryptography, while related in many aspects steganography and cryptography are not same. The existence of a cryptographic message can easily be noticed by a casual observer as the messages are scrambled to hide the original content. Whereas, steganography hides the original massage in other innocent messages to protect the information from prying eyes. The existence of the hidden message is not obvious to an ordinary observer and cannot be detected by naked eyes in most of cases. Stegenography uses in many applications like Online voting, hiding secret messages in military applications, transaction in e-commerce & e-bidding etc.
