Project #1:

Client
Bolero International Ltd., U.K
Project Name
Bolero Web Interface
Project Description
Bolero is a product-based company, presently busy in developing their Web Interface by name Bolero Web Interface. It consists of mainly two phases. They are as following.

         1.  CMP (Core Messaging Platform)
         2.  TR (Title Registry)
This project is basically an electronic media implementation of the traditional “Bill of Lading”. The CMP is the gateway where the documents sent by the Sender (i.e: user) are received & validated. If the documents contain appropriate attributes they are validated else they are just rejected sending back negative acknowledgement (by name BNAK). The PDU’s are validated by the CMP; once they are valid the acknowledgement is sent to the receivers & to the sender. These acknowledgements are signed by the Bolero and the user is expected to validate the signature. The receiver has to send the UACK to the CMP in message time else the CMP generate FNOT (Failure-Notice) for the sender. And in similar way it also generates the DNOT once it receives the acknowledgement from the receiver. CMP only validates the standard doc-types, which is identified by the CMP through the SMIME message attached in the document sent by sender. Once the documents are validated & sent to receivers they are stored in their respective folders. If any users respective folder does not exist it just send them as “unassigned ” messages. The users is informed through the bolero mailing service that he received unassigned messages, and later on the user can store them in a new folder created by him or any other folder depending on his requirements, status of the messages now are assigned messages. The user is navigated in a flexible way through out the process. And if these document contains any instruction the CMP just send them to TR. It’s now where the TR comes into focus. The TR now goes ahead depending upon the instruction type & validates the whole document. These instructions are the standard type instructions used by the traditional “Bill Of Lading”. The instruction set contains 13 different instructions, which are used by BOL. For e.g. here are some instructions “Name Holder, Name-To Order etc “. These documents are called as e-BBL (electronic-BBL), they are operated depending upon the root RID (e-BL identifier). These documents are of two types, transferable & non-transferable. Then after all the processing is completed they are sent to the specified party through CMP again (i.e. the TR sends them to CMP). Rest is taken care by CMP.
