1.
Secure FTP with TLS/SSL Integration:
As part of my summer training at FLEXTRONICS SOFTWARE SYSTEMS
(erstwhile Hughes Software Systems) during
year 2005, I got involved with the live project “Secure FTP with TLS/SSL
Integration”. My specific assignment was to design and build the Transport Layer Security (TLS) into the FTP and TELNET protocols. Per design only the secure client having valid
certificates are allowed to be able to connect to the secure FTP server and can
transfer data over encrypted data channel. Given the limited training
duration, I could complete the design, coding and testing of secure FTP.
2. B.Tech. Final Semester project: Demonstration of TCP/IP Socket Programming:
The project makes use of socket
library to demonstrate various utility programs (client-Server Applications) on
Linux/Unix platform in C language with different
implementation schemes (select, threads, signals etc.).
