Presently working as CADD Technician at Vardhini Consultants. Mangalore since Jan- 2005 to till date.
The
company is into CADD/GIS. The responsibilities involve raster to vector
conversion of piping drawing images, geographical maps, structural drawings and
mechanical drawings using AutoCAD. Also 3D modeling of parts using Autodesk
Inventor & 3D to 2D conversion for production. (With required typical
views).
2) Worked
as Sales Engineer for Blue Stream Trading Co. Dubai, U.A.E.
3) Worked
at Janamadhyama Prakashana Ltd., (Janavahini Kannada Daily) Mangalore from Feb
2001 till July 2003 in the post of Production/Technical Assistant.

For
all above projects the work involved was to convert raster image to vector
images (AutoCAD drawings). The raster images supplied by the clients were taken
into AutoCAD with appropriate scale. The image was traced and the dimensions
were vectorised to scale.
For mechanical drawings the
detailed view, sectional view and auxiliary views were drawn and dimensioned
accordingly.
For map/GIS drawings the raster
image was traced in AutoCAD entities and the locations were tagged with all the
information’s. The different entities like roads, bridges, rivers and highways
were captured and put into different layers.
