work
Anodization was carried
out galvanostatically in a vigorously stirred bath of sulphuric acid having 10,
15 and 20% (w/v) concentrations with different current densities of 10, 15, 20,
30 and 40 mA/cm2 at room temperature for 15, 30 and 60 min. The
effect of processing variables viz., electrolyte concentration, current
density, and time on anodizing of the samples were also studied. Laser surface
profilometer was used to measure the thickness of anodized layer on Aluminum
sheet. Capacitance of anodized layers as a function of frequency was measured
with Impedance analyzer. Microstructural investigation was also carried out
using Scanning electron microscopy equipped with Energy dispersive spectroscopy.
