SIMPLE LEXICAL ANALYZER

Description :
The lexical
analyzer part comes under the compilation process. The lexical analyzer also
forms to be the first Phase of the compilation Process. Its main task to read
the input characters and produce as a out put a sequence of tokens that the
parser uses for syntax analysis.
The input to
the program is the source program which has to be compiled and the output
obtained should be the target program, for which we have many intermediate
phases. Source program will be the input to the lexer phase and output of that
phase acts as the input to the next i.e., syntax analysis phase.
Some times,
Lexical analyzers are divided in to a cascade of two phases, the first called
“Scanning” and “Lexical Analysis”. The scanner is responsible for doing simple
tasks, the lexical analyzer proper does the complex operations.

It also includes the tools such as line, rectangle, spiral and elipse to draw the required

screen.
We have used built in functions such
as line and bar functions to create buttons and menu bar.
We have implemented Bresenhams line
drawing, rectangle function, clipping
function,
As user defined in our project.
Finally it also includes the options
to fill the objects by using paint brush,fill color tool. We can also erase the
objects created with the help of variable size erasers.
