ACADEMIC PROJECT

Project Title     :  “Design of Transceiver Using PIC Microcontroller                                                                                                                                 &  Its Implementation With Real time PC Interface”

Team Size        :    2

Duration          :    2 months
Brief description :
              Objective of the project is to design transceiver using pic microcontroller
PIC 16F84 and demonstrated its working with PC interface. Serial communication technique is used. MAX 232 level converters are used to convert RS 232 levels to TTL Logic levels and vice versa. Assembly language program is written for pic to act transceiver. C program is written to set baud rate of the UART.
             IR transmitter is designed using NE555 timer in astable mode at 40 kHz frequency and for IR receiver photodiodes are used.
Platform used: C, assembly code for PIC 16F84.
