Working with HCL for past 8
months, I have gained a good professional experience, which includes development,
bug fixing and client interaction, in the software industry. Since I have joined
HCL, I am working in Document & Content Management domain and I am mainly working
on Documentum, and have gained a good exposure in various Documentum products,
such as: DFC, WDK, DQL, etc. Besides being good at my technical skills I have a
fairly good communication and interpersonal skills.

Wolters Kluwer is
one of the world’s leading publisher and providers of information products and
services. The
WK Forms Platform requires development of a customer end-user application where
various legal forms will be put in the Documentum Content Server. These forms
will be developed using the workflows where different actors will work on them
till they become the product in the market. The application serves the actor
his pending tasks, which comes in his inbox along with the documents attached
to it. Actors accept the work item, check out the documents, work/review it,
and check in the documents and then forward/reject the work item to the next
actor in the workflow.
WK
Forms Platform (CMS) application is a customization of Documentum’s Webtop
application using WDK according to the client requirement. Webtop application
is based on the MVC architecture where controller, model and view are clearly
separated. Configuration of a component is written in XML file where component
id is mapped with the behavior class (Java) and the JSP page. There is a heavy
usage of tag libraries that has resulted in reusability of components.
Responsibility:
1) Member of development team
2) Requirement Analysis
3) Client Interaction
