Description:

                 The study is based on the working capital management of InfoTech Enterprises Limited. IEL is a software company.  Most of the people are of the opinion that in software companies Working Capital Management  has less significance than in manufacturing concerns.  This is because of the fact that they will have no inventory.  But they have to maintain large amounts of cash balances moreover they have large quantities of accounts receivable and smaller amounts of accounts payable than in manufacturing concerns which are also a part of Working capital .  So efficient management of Working capital is very essential which the topic of the study is.

                  An estimate of Working Capital for the near future has been prepared based on NASSCOM report and the last four years financial statements. The study is based on the following objectives;

1. To study the company's strategy to manage Working Capital
2. To study the factors which will influence the Working Capital requirements  of InfoTech
3. To analyze the financial performance and to identify the strengths and weaknesses of InfoTech through financial ratio analysis
4. To suggest measures on how to improve the financial performance of InfoTech.
