“REAL TIME DATA ACQUISATION USING BLUE TOOTH” TECHNOLOGY:

Project Description:
The main aim of the project is to design a blue tooth technology based data acquisition system. In this project the user can monitor the data by shifting in the remote location. Both the PC’s are connected using the USB blue tooth modules.

 Blue tooth module is a stack, which consists of 7 layers for secured communication in RF band working at 2.4 GHZ. It is been interfaced to a USB port, which in turn is, configured as a Blue tooth network adapter for wireless LAN application. It is programmed using sockets for providing full duplex text/voice/Temperature monitoring/file transfer. This blue tooth can work up to 20 meters an above which is divided into class 1/2/3 for different ranges.

These modules are programmed using the socket programming. Here we are monitoring temperature of a furnace by using a micro controller and sending it through a serial port of a PC running under VISUAL BASIC. Here we are also controlling any device connected to the server PC via parallel port from the client .We are also implementing the text transfer (full duplex).
 The blue tooth is used, as a mode of communication to many clients, which needs to access the server data, needs to provide the security password for access the parameters of the server through sockets. Connected to server machine depending on any parameter for e.g. Temperature the data can be acquisitioned and the same can be sent to the user. This is highly accurate and works at a very high speed.

“DTMF BASED REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM”

Project Description: Using the DTMF (dual tone multi-frequency) remote control system one can control the electronic /electrical gadgets like washing machines, water pump, television, sound system, home appliances etc. The most desirable enhancement is telephone controlled remote switch. This is an interesting project, which enables one to utilize a telephone for remote switching on/off any electrical/electronic-operated device.
