Projects Projects  (Contd.)	Major project Audio Signal Processing using MATLAB        Sound processing is one of the many applications of Digital Signal Processing. Different effects can be performed with various filters. Echo effect was produced using single echo filter and multiple echo- filter. Concepts like delay, reverberation, flanging and equalization have been considered. (Contd…) Minor project Mobile handover using MATLAB        Wireless technology has become the most exciting area in telecommunications and networking. In the project, several base stations were located with the help of their coordinates. Then distance of the user from various base stations was calculated. Free space losses, corresponding to each of the base stations, was found out. Out of them the minimum one was specified. The base station with the minimum loss influences the mobile. If the user changes its position, then it comes under the influence of another base station which was again specified by the procedure. So, handover takes place from one base station to another according to the position of the user.
