Project Management and Management Planning

  • Ensuring timely and qualitative delivery of all projects as per the cost and effort estimates made.

Brief description of the project:

British American Tobacco (BAT) had implemented Siebel (e-Consumer Goods) for their Trade Marketing and Distribution application. The below customized products were implemented by BAT to meet their business requirements.
V3/Quantum: Trade Marketing Application, implemented in BAT global office at Belgium, Holland, Middle East, Bangladesh, Australia, Switzerland, France.
MaxFli – For Trade Marketing and Distribution integrated with the Hand Held (HP Jornada 690, HP Jornada 720 versions).  Implemented in BAT global office at Central America, Chile, Hungary, Romania, and Colombia.

Scope:                               

CRM2000 is an across the globe Siebel implementation in IBM. It was part of Data Operations, which is a supporting organization in CRM2000.This organization supports all PDTs across each CRM Siebel release. Data Operations scope focuses on the support of production change requests related to data migration and data interfaces into Siebel. It also reviews data mapping from legacy applications to Siebel during the CRM requirements phases, to identify impacts on current data associated with PDTs in production. As part of Level 2 support - it does problem determination to identify what area might have caused a data problem, such as an EIM load, an application problem, or maybe a legacy application migration problem.

Responsibilities:

To provide Administrator support for Siebel users across North America and Asia Pacific.
Create/Modify/Remove access to Siebel users.
Synchronizing the Siebel users with Actuate Reporting Server.
Extract data from IBM enterprise database for EIM loading.
