  Description of Project

“Developing  Text Recognizer Speech Engine  application using SIP/VoIP    protocols to support telephonic links on internet.”

 It is prototype software that allows a hearing   impaired person to place a SIP phone call by typing a text message. The typed messages are translated into speech at the receiving side if the person receiving the message is a hearing-enabled individual. To communicate back to the hearing-impaired individual, the hearing-enabled participant speaks and their speech is in turn translated into text at the hearing-impaired participant’s end of the conversation.

My Responsibilities

I was involved in developing a VoIP communication link between client-server .This client can accept information input in textual form & can transmit it to other PC in 8 bits PCM sound format .We have used the MICROSOFT SPEECH SDK to convert our textual data into voice. This converted voice information is pocket-sized using VoIP specification & transmitted through a UDP communication.

Description of Project

“This audio processor application is targeted for wireless entertainment application where we can create various effects in our speech data before sending it to destination “

·        The objective of this to frame a real time audio application under client server remote link. This software was able to produce so many sound effects like echo, reverberations etc. This was a client server modal along with real time sound effects (with the help of various filter) .The communication between client-servers was frame by frame.

My Responsibilities

     I was involved in developing carious DSP (IIR) filters to generate series of sound effects like echo,reveberration,fadding etc.We have also created client server environment where this audio application could be accessed through a server from a remote client .Here the client PC is simulated as a Mobile Handset as per GSM physical specification
