Curriculum Project:

Title                            : Design, fabrication and simulation of battery powered automobile 

Description                 :

 In this project  I designed  a  three wheeler atomobile which is powered by Lead Acid Battery and simulated using PSPICE Multisim. For this project I used DC series self motor which provides a high starting torque.the speed control of this motor is carried by armature voltage control using single quadrant Buck Converter. DC-DC  Converter is used to vary the armature voltage. Power MOSFET is used for switching device which has high switching frequency.Pulse width modulation was used as switching scheme,i.e,for a given voltage,the average out put voltage is controlled by controlling the switch ON duration keeping const frequency.
Circuit details        :     
·        TL 494- Pulse Width Modulation control circuit.
·        LM 339- Level shifting comparator.
·        HEF 4073B- Buffer.
·        IR 2110 -Gete Driver

Academic Achievements/Awards:

·        Secured 1 st rank in the class during intermediate.

·        Actively involved in development of manually operated robotic arm for pick and placing of objects.

·        Got 2 nd prize  for my paper submitted on methods of  improving power systems stability.


Extra Curricular Activities:

·        Active member of Electrical Engg. Association during my B.Tech and conducted many seminars and quizzes.
·        Active member of NSS club during my B.Tech.
