Ø      Provide trouble shooting services on high, medium and low voltage motor controls
Ø      Removing (rigging) motors and pumps out and transporting them to the shop for repair, and installing them upon completion of shop work.
Ø      Repaired some larger motors in the field, turn and undercut in place, turn rings or replace ring in place. Scrape in new Babbitt bearings and perform pinch test upon installation. Disassembled motors and cleaned them in place. These motors ranged in size of 100hp to upwards of 7500HP.
Ø      Rewound generators in place shipboard. Performed load testing for shipboard generators.
Ø      Worked on switchgear for ships and industrial plants, as well as utilities.
Ø      Installed and programmed VFD’s on various equipment.
Ø      Assembled Installed large DC motors aboard various ships, changed out pole pieces and reconnected DC motors inplace.
Ø      Tested Motors on site for Open Rotor or other problems

Ø      Wound DC fields and reinsulated inter poles
Ø      Disassembled as well as assembled large horizontal as well as vertical motors.
Ø      Performed initial as well as final testing on AC & DC motors using various common test equipment including surge testers and Hi-Pot testing
Ø      VPI motors after they were wound
Ø      Performed load testing on motors and generators after repair.
Ø      Balanced rotors and armatures prior to assembly.
