As Banking Services Representative you are responsible for all aspects of retail and private banking sales and service including administrative and reception, teller and cash handling duties, and banker duties, including new account sales and existing client servicing.

§   Identify client needs, assist with inquires regarding accounts and related products as well as servicing both Canadian and US accounts.
§   Opening accounts, cross selling products, maintain account relationships, as well as everyday maintenance to business and personal accounts, CD’s and IRA’s, also to include referrals for mortgages, lending and other banking needs.  Cross selling products and services.  Assists with loan closings and applications. 
§   Back up to the teller; dealing with cash handling and vault responsibilities.  Maintaining a cash drawer, cashing checks, taking deposits, CD closures, IRA distributions, cashier checks, wires, and Notary services.

Customer Service Representative                                      January 2008 - September 2008

As a Customer Service Representative you are responsible for both sales and client servicing with in the banks’ retail system. 

Major Duties:

§   Interview customers to gather information to place customers in the correct product and service to meet their banking needs.
§   Open and close accounts, certificates of deposits; actively promotes loan applications, both consumer and home equity and also facilitates the closing of loan packages.
