was the migration of applications from the acquired company (Prudential Bache)
to the new owner (Jefferies). The scope
of the project involved documentation and assistance in the actual migration

project is an enterprise initiative to implement a mapping tool that replaces
the current process of loading MGA/TPA data from the client into the internal
company database (corporate record). The tool is an add-in to Microsoft Excel
and has a user friendly UI where the users (internal or external) map the
fields from their source data into ACORD format that is mapped to the CR format
in the backend. The users have the capability of updating defaults, rules etc
and use code sets to map the source records. The current process uses ETL to
load the data into the CR. The tool replaces the process.
